Natural & Candid Wedding Photography in Tokyo, Japan

Earlier this year I had the absolute pleasure of photographing L&R’s traditional Japanese Wedding Ceremony and Reception in central Tokyo. I absolutely love having the opportunity to photograph these Weddings and I just love the traditional shrines and Kimonos. They’re just so timeless in my eyes.

I’m writing this blog post in part to announce that I am officially going to be based in Tokyo as a Wedding and portrait photographer from March 2020 and I’m starting to take bookings now. Needless to say, I’m super excited - It has taken a while to organise everything with visas but the time has finally arrived!

I’m hoping to offer an alternative to the more traditional photography seen at Japanese Weddings and instead offer a more contemporary and documentary style like I have back home in London. My aim is to document your Wedding day as it unfolds and try to be as unobtrusive as possible. I also allow time to create some beautiful and natural looking portraits. If you want to see my dedicated Wedding Photography page to see more of my work then please click here.

I’m very much looking forward to documenting more Tokyo Weddings in the near future. For now though, here are a few highlights from L&R’s Wedding earlier this year!
