Booking Process // the experience

I’m always honoured to be chosen to photograph someone’s Wedding Day and fully understand how important it is to you. I also know just how much work goes into planning this very special day in your lives and as such, I want to keep the whole process of working with me as simple as possible for you. Here’s a rough idea of how it all works…

1. So you like my style?

You like my photography style and have decided to choose me! Send me an email via my contact form and tell me about your day. If all the dates line up and I’m available then it’s time to take this to the next step. If you need a bit more information you can always check out my FAQ here or I’m also happy to arrange a Skype call or even go for a coffee locally if that works for you (Canterbury).

2.contract and deposit

So the stars have aligned and we’re going to do this! I’ll need two things to make it official. I’ll need you to sign a copy of my Wedding Photographer’s Contract which you’ll receive a link to via email to be signed online. I’ll also need a non-refundable deposit of £300 which is payable via UK bank transfer or paypal. Once I receive those two items then it really is official.

I have also created a short guide to light on your Wedding Day to help you get on with the rest of your planning - click here!

3. A Skype call / final payment

Time is going to fly by and before we know it, the day will be just a few weeks away. It’s at this time about 2 weeks away from the actual date that we need to arrange a Skype call to organise the final details. It’s always great for me to get a breakdown of your final plans, an idea of what group photos you might like and addresses of where you’ll be getting ready etc.

I will also ask for payment of the remaining balance approximately 1 month prior to your Wedding day by bank transfer.

4. your wedding day!

Exciting times - your day has finally arrived! Depending on what package you have booked, I will be with you from the getting ready photos right the way up to the dance floor moves. I do my best to be as unobtrusive as possible letting you enjoy your day and hopefully you won’t really notice I’m there! I stay until I feel I have captured enough of the evening atmosphere to tell the story.

5. your online gallery album

Your Wedding Gallery is ready! You’ll receive a link to your online Wedding Gallery about 1-2 weeks after your Wedding Day unless I mention otherwise. You’ll be able to download all the photos, create a list of your favourites and even purchase prints directly from the gallery if you wish to do so. The Gallery will be online for 6 months from the date of delivery so be sure to download them all before then (you’ll get a reminder don’t worry).

I promise to keep the whole process as smooth and hassle free as I possibly can. If that sounds good to you, let’s get a conversation started!
