A beautiful pre wedding photoshoot surrounded by lush nature in Hakone, Japan

Nature never goes out of fashion and where better than the beautiful countryside scenery of Hakone, accessible via a short day trip from Tokyo (although I always recommend staying close by and enjoying a night at an onsen ryokan). These two lovely humans wanted a nature photoshoot to go alongside their more urban styled photoshoot in Tokyo so when they got in touch I was more than happy to organise something special!

Hakone is quite secluded amongst the mountains and lakes and sometimes you’ll even get a view of Mount Fuji on clear days. One of my first memories of my time in Japan was actually hiking along some mountain ridge lines here and witnessing Fuji-san on a perfectly clear day - it was magical!

Whilst I do offer photoshoots in Tokyo with more urban scenery, I’m always super happy to do shoots like these. I personally get more inspiration from nature than in the city, and I believe these shots will always maintain a timeless quality to them.
