Intimate Elopement surrounded by the mountains of Nagano, Japan

Highlights from a stunning adventure elopement in Nagano, Japan.

This has to be one of the highlights of my photography career and is exactly the type of elopement I love to photograph! The nature in the area was absolutely stunning especially since we managed to time things well with the gorgeous Autumn leaves in Kamikochi.

The plan was pretty simple - go hiking and find a picturesque spot for a small and intimate elopement ceremony. We also added on a few portrait sessions too so we could chase golden hour both in the morning and in the evening. The end result was a beautiful mix of timeless portraits and fun candid photos documenting the trip together.

If you’re interested in organising an adventure elopement similar to this please don’t hesitate to get in touch! I often work with my good friend Tyson Faa, a very talented videographer also based in Tokyo. We pair well together and know how each other work so things can move seamlessly. We can provide basic planning services including HMUA, Flowers and logistical support or offer more extensive services upon request and tailor made.

I’ll let the video and photos do the rest of the talking!
