A stunning Elopement photoshoot at Mount Fuji, Japan

Small and Intimate Elopement Ceremony and portrait session around Mount Fuji and Kawaguchiko, Japan.

Mount Fuji (Fuji-san) can be a little shy at times but we were treated to some magnificent views during this beautiful Elopement and portrait session. These two lovely people got in touch with me asking to do a small ceremony to exchange their vows and rings with Mount Fuji in the background. It was their dream to make this happen and they were even willing to get up for sunrise to realise their vision. We were not disappointed and the lake looked like a mirror in the morning sun - perfect conditions! I must admit, as a Wedding and Elopement photographer here in Japan it really doesn’t get much better than this and I was super excited to be behind the camera!

We chose to do this from the early morning as it gave us the best chance of clear and calm conditions that day (not to mention less people). We started with a lakeside photoshoot making the most of the golden hour before taking a break to warm up, get some breakfast before heading out for a tour around Kawaguchiko lake to some hidden spots that I like to use. The results were truly stunning and this will without doubt be a shoot that stays in my mind for many years to come!

I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking but if you’re interested in a shoot like this, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via my contact me page and I’ll be happy to help!
