E & H’s Autumn Elopement Through Kyoto's Charming Streets and Timeless Beauty

Nestled in Kyoto's timeless embrace, E & H chose the quiet elegance of a traditional Japanese garden for their autumn elopement.

We kicked off the day with engagement photos in Kyoto’s charming streets, capturing their love against the city's historic backdrop. A delightful detour to a cat cafe added a playful touch to their pre-ceremony moments.

Then, onto the main event, where E & H exchanged vows under a Torii gate surrounded by autumn foliage. The vivid colors of fall complemented the simplicity of the garden, providing a serene backdrop for their intimate vows. As their photographer, I felt privileged to capture the genuine connection between them, framed by the subtle beauty of nature's seasonal transformation.

The celebration continued with a traditional Japanese tea ceremony and concluded with a leisurely stroll through the garden, where we had the opportunity for a portrait session under the vibrant autumn foliage.
