Natural and Fun Family Portrait photoshoot set in Nature, Tokyo

Family portrait photos are some of the most important photos I take as a photographer here in Tokyo. They are always an absolute joy to shoot as I know I’m capturing some very important memories for people. Children grow up so fast that I really get a sense of capturing a moment in time that will be cherished for years to come.

This lovely Family portrait session in Tokyo was no exception. Timed with Father’s Day and a Birthday it was a perfect occasion for a photoshoot. We decided to shoot in the local area around the Family home focusing on getting as much nature in as possible for a very timeless background to the photos. We then finished with a little in home shoot complete with Birthday cake!

My photography always aims to keep things as natural as possible and I’m always looking for those moments in between where I can get some really natural laughs and smiles. Of course, I’m still happy to do some more organised and posed photos which work well for our grandparents and older generations who are not so used to candid photos.
