S & T chose this incredible setting for their custom adventure elopement, and it was the perfect reflection of who they are: down to earth, adventurous, and deeply connected to each other.

They started their elopement in the best way possible, rafting down the river together. The sound of rushing water, the laughter, and the thrill of the rapids set the tone for a day that was all about joy and being fully present. Afterward, they slowed things down, getting dressed for a kaiseki dinner, a multi-course meal that is as much an art form as it is a culinary experience.

The next morning, we rode the cable car up into the mountains. Sakura were in bloom at the shrine, petals drifting gently through the air as they stopped to write their wishes on an ema plaque.

Later, they changed into wedding attire, and we hiked down into the river gorge. On the banks of the river, surrounded by steep rock walls and flowing water, they exchanged vows. It was intimate, timeless, and utterly natural, exactly what an adventure elopement should be.
